HYGENESYS is a project in which students of the Saxion University of Applied Sciences together with researchers and companies have developed a 70kW alkaline electrolyser at the H2Hub Twente in Almelo. Designing an electrolyser requires multidisciplinary collaboration across mechanical engineering, chemistry, electrical engineering, safety science, and measurement and control technology. The electrolyser's development will build (market) knowledge at companies and enable relevant student assignments.
