HyMatters helps
Although HyMatters is a hydrogen specialist, a hydrogen solution is not a goal in itself. We first look at your current, local energy infrastructure. From there, we calculate which mix of solutions will give you the most independence, stability, and energy security. Hydrogen does not have to be part of that mix.
Nevertheless, for many industries, sectors, and branches, hydrogen is an important energy stabilizer. Of all sustainable energy sources, hydrogen alone has the capacity, storage capability, and transportability to replace fossil fuels such as natural gas and diesel.
Which hydrogen solutions are we developing?
Broadly speaking, a hydrogen solution can be stationary or mobile. With stationary, you can think of a local hydrogen infrastructure, for example a factory powered by hydrogen, a hydrogen production site, or a hydrogen refueling station.
A mobile hydrogen solution could be, for example, a hydrogen trailer at a construction site, a mobile pump set, or a hydrogen vehicle.
HyMatters develops both stationary and mobile hydrogen solutions. In addition, we assist you with the development of facilities for research purposes and R&D. For example, a hydrogen lab where a company or knowledge institution can conduct research, or a hall where maintenance is carried out on hydrogen vehicles.

How do we work?
HyMatters is your energy consultant and hydrogen architect who stays involved throughout the entire process. This process consists of several steps in which we develop and implement your hydrogen solution.
Concept development
Using your current local energy infrastructure or product innovation as a starting point, we formulate a concrete energy vision tailored to your needs, plans, and ambitions.
Feasibility study
We create a basic design for your hydrogen solution. Based on this design, we assess the financial feasibility, safety, and permitability.
Detailed design
You will receive the final design for engineering, financing, safety, and permitting. We approach manufacturers and suppliers for the delivery of the required (sub)systems.
Realization
The shovel can go into the ground. We supervise the construction and ensure that everything is built according to the detailed design. This way, we make sure your hydrogen solution truly becomes operational.
and then?
Then you are less dependent on external factors that you cannot control, such as grid congestion. Your company is then less vulnerable thanks to a balanced energy mix, and you create energy capacity for your future plans.
